I’m the PR and marketing manager for an island resort called Al Dar Islands seven minutes by water taxi from the mainland. My job is split into two roles. Public relations means I talk with the guests about their time on the island ensuring everything is great for them and reaffirming their positive attitudes about the island by focusing on what they really enjoy about the resort. From time to time, I get to have a beer with them and go swimming too.
