To be held at Bahrain's most exclusive shopping complex, Moda Mall at the Bahrain World Trade Center, the event is to run from 28th - 30th May, and will combine European and Eastern fashion with home grown talent. Celebrity Bollywood model /actress Riya Sen is set to make an appearance, along with designers from the UK, Netherlands, Italy, India and many more, plus the event will host fashion-related seminars to give a detailed insight to the international fashion industry from experts. Bahrain's Royal University for Women is also to take centre stage at the event through the 'Emerging Talent' section, where their graduating fashion students will be showcasing the best of their designs, and Sima Ahmed will host a workshop for guests entitle 'in love with fashion.' Speaking on the BFW 2009, the organisers from Lotus Pi events, commented.
